Disproportionate burden

  • content from third-party providers (e.g., payment or map functions) over whose accessibility we have no direct influence.

We endeavor to make this content accessible in future updates or new publications.

Exemptions from the scope of accessibility regulations

The following content does not fall within the scope of legal accessibility regulations according to § 1 paragraph 2 BITV 2.0 or Article 1 paragraph 4 of Directive (EU) 2019/882:

  • audio and video recordings published before September 23, 2020,
  • content and files provided exclusively as an archive and not updated or revised since September 23, 2019,
  • content from external platforms or third-party providers (e.g., embedded maps, payment services, social media feeds) over whose design we have no direct influence,
  • reproductions of media content or product images that cannot be fully prepared accessibly due to their origin.

This content is therefore exempt from accessibility requirements.

Accessible alternatives

For content that is not yet fully accessible, no alternative accessible formats or access options are currently available.

However, we are continuously working to reduce existing barriers and provide appropriate accessible alternatives in the future.

Evaluation method

The accessibility of this website was evaluated in June 2025 using automated testing tools. In particular, the tools axe DevTools and Google Lighthouse were used.

During this review, all accessibility issues classified as "critical" and "serious" were identified and rectified.
A manual review supplemented the automated analysis to ensure the best possible accessibility of the content.

The evaluation was based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), conformance level AA.
