The battery-powered high grass mower for steep slopes
The AS 63 is the slope mower par excellence. With its pneumatic tires and differential lock, it climbs slopes with ease. The engine brake keeps it at the selected speed when going downhill without accelerating. Equipped with a cross-blade system, the AS 63 E-Allmäher easily cuts and shreds tall grass and light undergrowth up to 100 cm high. The new 56 volt AS-Motor Electric drive has the power of a conventional 200 cm3 petrol engine. It is powered by two professional hand batteries, each with 12 Ah. Together they have an enormous energy content of 1,344 watt hours. For maximum range, an additional 28 Ah backpack battery can be connected. With a record-breaking energy reserve of 2,912 watt hours. If an obstacle is overlooked, the motor and blade shaft, which are separated by a blade coupling, offer a high level of engine protection. The stepless Variomatic drive enables speeds of 2.0 - 4.0 km/h and can be adjusted while driving. The reduction gear in the drive with a gear ratio of 1:13.44 gives the machine a very high driving power. The lockable front wheels enable safe straight-ahead driving across slopes.
Comfortable, safe and easy operation
Only four control levers control all functions of the AS 63 E-Allmäher: drive, parking brake, blade clutch, differential lock and Variomatic. When the drive is activated, the differential lock is automatically engaged. It remains permanently locked until the drive is switched off. The automatic parking brake also offers another safety aspect. As soon as the drive lever is released, the parking brake is automatically engaged, which means the lawn mower stops safely both on slopes and on level ground. The guide bar, which is equipped with a V-bar, ensures that the individual functions can be operated comfortably. The handlebar and bar can be adjusted laterally and in height without tools. The guide bar can be folded up compactly for easy transport, even in a car. In addition, hand-arm vibrations are reduced to a minimum by "VibrationProtect". An optional mulching kit is available for a visually appealing cutting pattern in lower grass.
